Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of man?

Or, more appropriately in this case, what Lego lurks in the nose of Sam.

Saturday, Kevan noticed Sam playing with a few small legos from the set Jake was using to assemble some starwarsspaceamazingzoomingflyingthing and then a few moments later, couldn't see them anywhere but did see Sam messing with his nose. So after two days of trying to get it out on our own (have we mentioned recently how strong Sam is?), we took him into the doctor's office. They couldn't get at it either, so off to the emergency room we went. We waited for just over three hours (and Kevan mentioned that he felt a little cheated, what with it not being anything like the ERs he's seen on tv--no sex, drama, or intrigue! Boo!), and finally the doctor was able to extract (it took 4 people to hold him down and what Kevan called "the coolest little tool ever" to get it out) these two little dealies (don't ask me what they are; they are little and kid-flavored, therefore they are "little dealies." You Lego purists can fill me in later.):

Ah, what a fun adventure for you. Glad to see you posting more often. I've missed you, ya know.

Oh, and I agree with you and Kev on the lack of drama in the ER. here in AZ, our ERs are pretty much filled with sick old people. And 3 hours isn't bad. Last time we had to take Jake to the ER for kidney stones, we were there just under 12 hours. I was also 4 1/2 months prego. It was fun. Bet you are jealous.

It must be gender specific as to what you put in your nose. Savannah put beads from her "princess bracelet" We had to see an ENT to get those out. Sorry you had such an adventure with the legos!
