Or maybe that should be "Konversation with Kevan"
But anyway...
Me: How was your ride to the embassy this morning?
Kev: Good. I missed the shuttle though, so I took a taxi.
Everso informational sidenote: Cairo taxi drivers are cray-to-the-Z. Seriously. But there are also some good ones--you'll still get a wild ride, but at least they know the city and/or can read a map. Y'know, minor things like that.
Me: Oh yeah? Did you get a good driver or a bad one?
Kev: Oh, he was a really good driver. He was bobbin' and weavin' that taxi through spaces a bicycle shouldn't've fit.
Me: So he was a man after your own heart then!?
Kev: Yeah...he was my kind of driver.

Love your blog, Sara!
Tell Kevan that Cairo taxi driver is not an acceptable post-military career choice. You know he's considering it...
Kipling-esque...
